Get To Know the Doctor

Dr.  Tuano Cabrera is a graduate of the University of the Philippines College of Dentistry (1994) and was a topnotcher (third) in the board exams the following year.  The doctor completed an externship program in general dentistry at V. Luna Medical Center in 1996 and graduated from the Graduate School of the University of the Philippines Manila in 1999 with a Certificate of Proficiency in Orthodontics.  In addition, she has a Master’s degree in Dentistry, major in Orthodontics from the same school. Dr. Tuano Cabrera is a faculty member of the Graduate Program in Orthodontics of U.P. Manila. She devotes some of her time as a volunteer orthodontist for the Noordhoff Craniofacial Foundation Philippines and has been treating kids and adults with cleft lip and palate for more than 15 years.  She has shared her expertise in orthodontics as a lecturer, especially in cleft lip and palate treatment, in local and international conferences. She was an educational grant awardee at the 8th International Orthodontic Congress in London (2015).  Dr. Tuano Cabrera frequently participates in continuing education (locally and abroad) to remain aware of advances in her profession. She is a certified Fellow in Orthodontics by the Philippine Regulation Commission Board of Dentistry and the Association of Philippine Orthodontists. Dr. Tuano Cabrera is a fellow the World Federation of Orthodontists, and has been in the exclusive practice of Orthodontics for more than 20 years.
